How to get started with our new open beta training mode
We’re very excited to be launching MatchPlay with you today, providing you with another training tool to take your scanning, vision, and decision making to the next level.
Before you get started, it’s important to highlight that MatchPlay is a training mode still in development. This release is an open beta for Be Your Best subscribers, allowing you to try out the mode as we continue to work on it.
You may encounter multiple bugs and known issues which could impact the app & your training experience.
We’ll be working hard to improve the mode over the next few months, and hope that you see the same potential in it that we do.
How to start training with MatchPlay?
To start using MatchPlay, you’ll need to manually update the version of your Be Your Best app through the Meta Quest app on your phone. Take a look at the video and steps below on how to do this:
Steps to access the BYB matchplay beta:
- Open the Meta Quest app on your phone
- Click "Menu" in the bottom right corner
- Open the Meta Quest app on your phone
- Scroll down and click on "My Library"
- Select the Be Your Best app
- Click on the version number (numbers in bold)
- Select "Channel" in the top right and choose a "MatchPlay Beta Group" channel
- Put on your headset, open the Be Your Best app and accept the prompt to update it. Once the update is complete, you can sign in and start training!
